About ArtPeace Programs People Gallery Contact

Hi.

Welcome to the ArtPeace site!

I am the Founder and Executive Director of ArtPeace, Inc. and for me, this organization is the little engine that could. We think we can and we keep doing it. We are slowly and steadily growing and I have the fun job of guiding the train and for me, it is the fulfillment of a dream.

We are glad to have you visit us here. Please take a peek around to get to know us a little better. We hope something sparks your interest!

ArtPeace has a very exciting year ahead with ArtPeace Young Entrepreneurs who are recording original music, making films & animations, doing modern and hip hop dance, making jewelry, vessels and furniture out of found objects, writing original stories and plays, performing their comedic work, painting and creating wireless networks in Rochester, NY. We are working on this being a year-round youth employment opportunity and we are building an online e*store to sell the work of our professional Master Artists and apprentices.

In the Fall, we are starting a truly innovative school, ArtPeace@East, teaching all academic subjects in ways that align with the NY State standards through the use of the ARTS, TECHNOLOGY and ENTREPRENEURSHIP – it’s pilot year is an alternative program educating 80 7th graders within East High School in Rochester, NY. We are also expanding our reach into the Southern Tier this year and MORE! Check it out in the ArtPeace Action News and go to our Gallery to see some photos from past programs.

At ArtPeace, we believe all things are possible if you do what you love and love what you do. We want to encourage people to fulfill their Soul purpose in life, work hard, be good and DO good!

Thanks for your continued support of ArtPeace.

Warmly,
Kris Rapp
